KPMG has one of the leading Indirect Tax practices in the UK, providing advice and support across all aspects of Indirect Tax (VAT, Customs Duty, Green taxes) to a diverse range of sectors including large multinationals, retailers, public sector organizations, and financial services firms. Our practice is fast-growing, with approximately 13 partners and 190 professionals nationwide, dedicated to supporting our clients with complex indirect tax issues.The KPMG UK Fintech team manages over 140 clients, including a significant digital assets business supporting UK and international crypto companies. Indirect tax plays a vital role in this sector, and we are seeking an experienced VAT Senior Manager to work alongside the VAT partner leading the Fintech VAT practice and the broader UK Fintech team.Due to rapid growth—over 160% in five years—and expanding VAT services, we seek an ambitious Senior Manager to lead fintech and crypto accounts, develop our indirect tax offerings, and progress towards a director role. The position offers leadership opportunities within the Fintech VAT practice, supporting the current VAT partner in strategic initiatives.The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong business development capabilities, confidence in client interactions, and leadership skills to collaborate across various service lines, including legal and regulatory services. The role involves managing multiple projects simultaneously, requiring excellent organizational skills.Roles and Responsibilities

Providing high-quality indirect advisory services on a broad range of tax issues to fintech and crypto clientsMaintaining and developing strong client relationshipsCreating innovative solutions and identifying new opportunities for clientsSupporting business development initiativesBuilding and maintaining key B2B and B2C client relationshipsMentoring junior team members technically and commerciallyCollaborating closely with the Fintech VAT partner and other senior leaders to realize your potentialQualifications and Skills

ACA or CTA qualification with significant experience in financial services indirect taxesExperience and Background
