They use their deep sector experience and knowledge of different legal and regulatory systems around the world to help clients meet their compliance obligations as well as achieve their business goals.The opportunityOur Indirect Tax professionals provide pragmatic commercial help so clients improve their day-to-day reporting for indirect tax. This includes improving working capital, reducing errors, reducing costs and ensuring indirect taxes are handled correctly. They advise how indirect taxes such as value added tax (VAT) or goods and services tax (GST) impinge on the client''s supply chain and financial and accounting systems.We are looking for a confident Indirect Tax professional to join the team as a Senior AdvisorYour key responsibilitiesBuild and maintain tax relationships with clients and provide high levels of client serviceBuild relationships both within the firm and externally with clients, identifying opportunities and managing expectationsContribute to winning new work by proactively managing existing clients and contribute to winning new clientsManage the successful delivery of tax projects, ensuring technical excellence and practical/business driven approach takenResponsible for day-to-day delivery of client liaisonKey member of one of the client service groups providing full tax services to a client portfolioSkill and attributes for successRelevant Tax experience within Indirect TaxStrong Tax technical skills and keen to develop furtherAbility to build strong client relationshipsExcellent communicator in range of situations both written and oralAbility to identify areas of risk, carry out an effective review and know when to refer upwardsClient focused and commercially awareRelationship management skills with ability to manage client expectationsTeam player with ability to build effective relationships at all levelsTo qualify for the role you must haveVAT Tax from a large accountancy or in-house teamATT / ACA / CA / Tax Inspectors with full Technical Training course / Tax specialist qualification / or breadth of knowledge equivalent to a Tax specialist qualificationWhat working at EY offersWe offer a competitive remuneration package where you''ll be rewarded for your individual and team performance.
