Description Manage VAT compliance processes and ensure timely submissions. Provide expert advice on indirect tax matters to clients. Identify and implement opportunities for tax savings and process improvements. Support clients during audits and liaise with HMRC as required. Keep up-to-date with changes in tax legislation and their impact on businesses. Train and mentor junior team members in tax-related tasks. Prepare and review detailed tax reports for internal and client use. Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery. Profile A successful Indirect Tax Manager should have: Strong knowledge of VAT and other indirect tax regulations. Experience in tax compliance and advisory work within professional services. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Confidence in dealing with clients and tax authorities. Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
