This role is crucial in advocating for victims of domestic violence and abuse, ensuring their voices are heard and their safety is prioritised. This position is office-based and offers a temporary contract for 3 months, with the possibility of extension. Day-to-day of the role: Act as an independent advocate for victims of domestic violence and abuse, particularly those who require safe temporary accommodation. Lead the provision of high-quality bespoke interventions for high and medium risk victims, utilising appropriate assessment tools and the DASH risk assessment to determine needs and create safety plans. Provide support in safe accommodation and assistance to eligible households under the Housing Act 1996, as amended by the Homelessness Reduction Act 2017.
