Our Client, a Merseyside council is seeking a Children''s Independent Reviewing Officer to join their Team.Fantastic payrate of £40 per hour!Are you a Children''s Social Worker, passionate about making a difference in your community? Do not miss out on this fantastic opportunity!Responsibilities of this role:Chair statutory reviews for looked-after children, ensuring care plans are robust, child-centred, and aligned with legislative requirements.Provide independent oversight and challenge to social work practice, escalating concerns where statutory duties, timescales, or quality standards are not met.Monitor the progress of care plans between reviews, ensuring actions are completed and children''s outcomes remain the primary focus.Build meaningful relationships with children and young people, ensuring their voices, wishes, and feelings are central to decision-making.Lead on the processing of Subject Access Requests (SARs), ensuring compliance with GDPR and data protection legislation.Coordinate information gathering for SARs across children''s services, working with teams to produce accurate, timely, and appropriately redacted records.Provide expert advice to staff on confidentiality, information-sharing, and data protection principles.Maintain high-quality records and reporting, contributing to service performance, quality assurance, and continuous improvement.Requirements of this role:Must be a Qualified Social Worker, registered with Social Work EnglandMust have minimum ..... full job details .....
