Independent Prescriber (Clinical Pharmacist)

Join a supportive GP practice as an Onsite Independent Prescribing Clinical Pharmacist, working alongside a collaborative multidisciplinary team to deliver safe, effective medicines optimisation and patient-centred care.

About the Position:

• 5 days per week, onsite
• 3–6 month fixed-term contract
• £35 per hour
• Flexible hours, within practice opening times of 08:15–18:15
• Use EMIS Web for clinical records, prescribing activity and correspondence
• Conduct medication reviews and implement medication changes
• Prepare and action clinical letters
• Deliver face-to-face patient appointments
• Work closely with GPs, nurses and the wider practice team to support safe prescribing and improved patient outcomes

What We’re Looking For:

• GPhC-registered Clinical Pharmacist with an Independent Prescribing qualification
• Confident using EMIS Web
• Experience completing medication reviews, managing medication changes and processing clinical correspondence
• Comfortable delivering face-to-face appointments
• A proactive, organised and collaborative approach to primary care pharmacy
