About the Role
Based in Gloucester, the Incoming Shipment Materials Handler, H, inspects and accepts deliveries against supplier packing lists, confirming every item arrives in satisfactory condition. This permanent post, paying £28,000 to £32,000 annually, involves checking goods and components, then distributing stock to production lines or wherever stakeholders request. Working patterns follow standard site hours, with occasional flexibility needed around delivery schedules. The successful candidate must hold a relevant licence and feel at ease operating 7.5 tonne lorries to move components, materials and products across the facility. Accuracy, attention to detail and safe vehicle handling are essential, alongside the ability to work independently and liaise with suppliers and internal teams.

You will inspect and accept incoming shipments against supplier packing lists, ensuring items have been received in a satisfactory state. Then using the Heavy Goods Vehicle distribute componenets, materials and products across the site.
Candidates are required to be comfortable driving 7.5 Ton lorries.
