Location: Derbyshire Contract: InterimDuration: 6 months Rate: 136.45 to 208.72 - some flexibility Band: 6/7We are currently recruiting for an experienced Income / SLR Management Accountant to join an NHS organisation on an interim basis.This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced NHS finance professional with a strong background in management accounting, income analysis and Service Line Reporting (SLR).About the RoleThe successful candidate will provide high-quality financial management and analytical support, working closely with finance colleagues and operational stakeholders to ensure accurate reporting, effective financial management and clear understanding of service performance.Key responsibilities are likely to include:Supporting the delivery of accurate and timely monthly management accounts.Providing financial analysis and reporting across income and service lines.Supporting Service Line Reporting (SLR) and analysis of financial and operational performance.Investigating and explaining financial variances, trends and changes in income.Supporting budgeting, forecasting and financial planning.Working closely with operational and clinical managers to improve financial understanding and performance.Providing financial advice and challenge to budget holders and service leads.Supporting the development and monitoring of financial plans.Producing clear financial information and analysis for senior finance and operational stakeholders.Ensuring financial information ..... full job details .....
