This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in income collection, rent arrears and housing management who is looking for a hybrid role within a supportive and professional environment. As an Income Officer, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of rent accounts and working proactively with residents to maximise income collection and minimise arrears. Your responsibilities of an Income Officer will include: Managing rent arrears and taking appropriate recovery action. Monitoring rent accounts and identifying potential issues at an early stage. Working with residents to establish affordable repayment arrangements. Providing advice and support to residents experiencing financial difficulties. Taking appropriate action in line with relevant policies, procedures and legislation. Liaising with internal teams and external agencies where appropriate.
