About the Role

We are currently seeking an organised, proactive and detail-oriented Income Administrator to join a busy income management team within a social housing organisation on a temporary basis.

You will help ensure rent accounts are maintained accurately, outstanding balances are monitored and residents receive a professional and supportive service.

  • Maintain accurate rent account records and update housing management systems.

  • Monitor rent accounts, identify outstanding balances and assist with arrears reporting.

  • Process payments, adjustments and account information in line with internal procedures.

  • Contact residents regarding rent accounts and outstanding balances, escalating cases where appropriate.

  • Assist income officers with arrears cases, payment arrangements and follow-up actions.

  • Respond to resident enquiries regarding rent payments, balances and account statements.

  • Prepare reports, correspondence and documentation relating to rent accounts and arrears.

Desirable Experience

Experience within a housing association, local authority or social housing environment is highly desirable. Knowledge of rent accounts, income collection, arrears monitoring, housing management systems and welfare benefit-related rent queries would be an advantage.

  • A supportive and professional working environment.

  • The opportunity to contribute to an important housing management function.

  • Potential to develop your skills and experience in income management.
