Job Description:

A forward-thinking education provision in North Essex is seeking an Inclusion Teacher with a strong focus on behaviour support, engagement, and re-integration. This role is suitable for either a mainstream teacher looking to move into inclusion, or an experienced SEND/SEMH practitioner who is confident working in high-support environments.

The setting supports students who require additional structure and consistency to access learning, with a clear emphasis on reducing barriers to education and improving outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver and support learning for students with behavioural, SEMH, and additional needs
• Plan and adapt lessons to re-engage learners working below age-related expectations
• Implement consistent behaviour strategies in line with whole-school policies
• Support reintegration into mainstream education where appropriate
• Work collaboratively with SENCO, pastoral, and safeguarding teams
• Contribute to a safe, structured, and supportive learning environment

Candidate Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent (ECTs welcome)
• Experience in mainstream or SEND settings with a behaviour focus
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
• Ability to build positive, consistent relationships with students
• Calm, resilient, and solution-focused approach
• Commitment to inclusive education and improving student outcomes
