Inclusion Support AssistantLocation: Birmingham, Secondary SchoolsStart date: ASAP/ Start DatePay Rate: £95-£100 (dependent on experience) About the role: We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Inclusion Support Teaching Assistant to work within schools across Birmingham. This role involves supporting pupils with additional needs, including Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), helping to ensure they can access learning in a safe, inclusive and supportive environment. You will work closely with teaching staff and SENCOs to provide tailored support, promote positive behaviour and encourage pupil engagement and progress.Key Responsibilities: Provide one-to-one and small group support for pupils with additional needsAssist the class teacher in delivering adapted lessons to meet individual learning needsSupport pupils with social, emotional and behavioural developmentImplement strategies to promote inclusion and positive behaviour within the classroomHelp create a safe, nurturing and inclusive learning environmentMonitor and report on pupil progress to teaching staffSupport pupils with personal care where requiredWork collaboratively with teachers, SENCOs and external professionalsKey Requirements: Previous experience working with children or young people, ideally within a school or SEND settingUnderstanding of Special Educational Needs, including ASD, ADHD and SEMH (desirable)Strong communication and interpersonal skillsA patient, empathetic and proactive ..... full job details .....
