Job Title: Inclusion Support Assistant

Contract: Full-time, long-term

TimePlan Education is working with a secondary school that requires an Inclusion / Nurture Room Support Assistant to work with pupils who struggle in mainstream classes. This is a great role for someone passionate about SEMH and pastoral support.

As an Inclusion Assistant, you will:

• Supervise a small nurture/inclusion room, supporting pupils removed from lessons.
• Help students regulate, reflect and reintegrate back into class.
• Support with behaviour plans and restorative conversations.
• Liaise with pastoral staff, SENCO and teachers about pupil needs and progress.

The ideal candidate will:

• Have experience with SEMH, behaviour or youth work.
• Be calm, patient and skilled at building trust with vulnerable pupils.
• Be resilient and consistent, with a strong commitment to inclusion.
