Inclusion Mentor

Rikama Education are seeking an experienced Inclusion Mentor in Bexleyheath from September 2025.You will have responsibility for the Inclusion unit, maintaining a learning environment and supporting students to return to their classes.Working alongside teachers to deliver a curriculum that is high in literacy skills as well as implementing interventions to address the needs of learners. You may be already working as a TA or keen to progress. You would be joining a skilled team of teaching and support staff in providing high quality learning for our pupils. This is an opportunity for an experienced and skilled practitioner to make a real difference to children''s lives. A proven background in managing challenging behaviour, alongside evidence of securing successful academic outcomes, are essential requirements.If you have enthusiasm, commitment and a desire to work with some of the most vulnerable and complex young people in our community, we would welcome your application.Your Responsibilities Will Include:Providing daily learning and emotional support to students (1:1 and small groups).Supporting pupils'' reintegration into mainstream school settings where appropriate.Monitoring behaviour and applying positive strategies and behaviour plans.Promoting emotional wellbeing, routines, and social skills.Communicating with parents and families to ensure cohesive support.Working closely with teachers, SEN staff, and pastoral teams.Keeping student records and contributing to ..... full job details .....
