Peterborough Secondary School Full-time Temp to Perm Opportunity Start Date: ASAP Grade A Recruitment are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Inclusion / Behaviour Support Officer to join a forward-thinking secondary school in Peterborough. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong behaviour management experience to make a real impact on the lives of young people who require additional support to reach their potential. Key Responsibilities: Support pupils in managing their behaviour, emotional regulation, and engagement with learning. Work closely with teaching staff, pastoral teams, and senior leaders to implement effective behaviour strategies and interventions. Supervise students working in the inclusion or reflection room, ensuring a calm, structured, and supportive environment. Build positive, trusting relationships with pupils to promote personal development and resilience. Keep accurate records of incidents, progress, and interventions, providing feedback to staff and parents when required. Contribute to a whole-school approach to behaviour, inclusion, and wellbeing. Requirements: Proven experience working in behaviour support, pastoral care, or inclusion (ideally within a secondary or SEND school). Strong behaviour management skills and the ability to de-escalate challenging situations calmly and effectively.
