This is a great opportunity for a 2+ PQE solicitor with a contentious or regulatory background who is looking to move in-house or develop their existing in-house experience within a broad, commercially focused role. The Role This is a varied and fast-paced position, providing legal advice and support across the operational side of the organisation. You''ll work closely with colleagues across the business, helping to deliver practical, commercially sound legal solutions. Your responsibilities will include: Advising on a variety of contentious and non-contentious matters. Managing commercial, customer and property disputes, litigation and enforcement matters. Supporting regulatory enforcement and prosecution activity. Advising on property, land, access and asset-related matters. Supporting environmental and regulatory issues. Instructing and managing external legal advisers. Preparing cases relating to statutory rights and powers. Providing legal input on customer and third-party complaints. Legal research, drafting and negotiation. Supporting legal and regulatory horizon scanning. Supervising and mentoring junior legal professionals.
