Your new companyA leading organisation within the engineering and construction sector is seeking a highly organised and detail-driven in-house mixed tax manager. With operations spanning the UK and Europe, the business supports some of the industry''s most complex and large-scale projects. You''ll be joining a collaborative, people-focused environment where continuous improvement, expert governance and doing things the right way are at the heart of the culture.Your new roleIn this role, you''ll coordinate global mobility activities across Europe, supporting tenders, managing visas and permits and ensuring international assignments run smoothly. You''ll assist the Tax team with international tax planning, work with external advisors, support VAT, corporate and income tax compliance and oversee HMRC submissions. You''ll also help set up and document international and shadow payroll processes, ensure payelements meet legislative requirements and monitor payroll compliance for cross-border workers. Alongside this, you''ll contribute to developing scalable governance frameworks, capture lessons learned, monitor EU labour, tax and permit compliance and engage local legal advisors when needed.
