As the business continues to grow, they are looking to appoint an in-house Legal Counsel to take full ownership of legal matters to be part of, and act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership.This is a rare opportunity to build and lead a legal function in a highly innovative environment. You will work closely with teams across the organisation, supporting everything from commercial strategy to regulatory compliance, while ensuring robust legal frameworks are in place. Job title: Legal CounselSalary: Up to £120,000 basic plus extensive benefits (DoE 8+ years PQE ideally)Location: Main office is in North Cambridgeshire. However, we can be very flexible on remote / hybrid work - so completely fine to consider people from London. In this hands-on role, you will draft, review and negotiate a wide range of commercial agreements including supplier, licensing, NDA, MSA and distribution contracts. You will also support intellectual property activities, working alongside external advisors on patents, trademarks and wider IP strategy.Alongside this, you will play a key role in corporate governance, data protection and risk management.
