In-House Legal Counsel

We really value in-person collaboration and this role requires a minimum of 2 days per week in our Newcastle HQ. What will your typical day look like? Atom bank is looking for an enthusiastic, proactive, and pragmatic Legal Counsel (0-3 years PQE) to join our close-knit in-house team. This is an exceptionally broad role offering comprehensive exposure across the bank. You will advise on everything from core commercial contracts and regulatory compliance (GDPR, Open Banking, PSD2) to corporate finance, marketing approvals, customer ops, and conveyancing queries. Because we keep day-to-day drafting in-house with limited reliance on external firms outside of major transactions, you will get stuck in from day one and learn by doing. You will be part of a supportive team that values informal coaching and mentoring, providing an environment where you can develop your skills rapidly through the broad spectrum of work you''ll be involved in.
