In-House Legal and IP Director (8 hours per week) - Remote

We are working with a leading medical devices company who are seeking an experienced Legal and Intellectual Property Director to join their in-house team. This is a part-time role (either 1 day per week or 8 hours over the week) that can be worked remotely with occasional office attendance.Candidates must be either a qualified UK or US Patent Attorney and have expertise in medical devices. A minimum of 7 years'' post qualification experience is required and candidates must be based in either the United Kingdom or Ireland.Duties:Directing end-to-end IP strategy.Drafting, prosecuting, and managing patent applications.Drawing up, reviewing, and negotiating agreements and contracts.Working closely with different teams to support the firm''s initiatives.Improving legal and IP operations.Handling risk management.Liaising with outside counsel as required.This is a unique opportunity to be the Director of IP and Legal operations for a forward thinking organisation.
