Legal Counsel - In-house Bristol - Hybrid This is a fantastic opportunity for mid-level Corporate lawyer (Associate to Senior Associate) to step into an In-house Legal Counsel role in Bristol. The role:This opportunity is to join a growing international legal team at a global software investment and operating group. Supporting a portfolio of software businesses operating within the mining and asset management sectors, you will work closely with senior stakeholders across multiple jurisdictions.This role offers significant exposure to MandA activity, with the successful candidate expected to take an increasingly active role in leading transactions while supporting the wider commercial legal function.Reporting to the General Counsel, you will play a key role in supporting strategic growth initiatives and ensuring effective legal risk management across the portfolio.This is a hybrid position based in Bristol, with occasional international travel required.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport and progressively lead MandA transactions, including:Legal due diligenceTransaction structuringDrafting and negotiating acquisition documentationManaging deal execution processesDraft, review and negotiate a broad range of commercial agreements:Non-disclosure agreements (NDAs)Software licence agreementsSaaS agreementsSupplier agreementsReseller and distribution agreementsProvide legal advice to senior business stakeholders on commercial and operational mattersSupport corporate governance and legal ..... full job details .....
