In-house Construction Solicitor / Legal Counsel: Working as a member of our client''s in-house legal team, you will be responsible for drafting, negotiating, reviewing and advising on standard form and bespoke construction contracts, major framework agreements, and joint ventures related to a wide array of large-scale projects, including matters overseas. The role is based at the company''s Glasgow office; you will work with commercial and legal colleagues across the Group, both in the UK and internationally.Responsibilities
Drafting, negotiating, reviewing and advising on standard form and bespoke construction contracts, major framework agreements, and joint ventures.Managing matters related to a wide array of large-scale projects, including overseas assignments.Collaborating with commercial and legal colleagues across the Group in the UK and internationally.Qualifications
Scottish or England and Wales qualified solicitor with circa 5+ years'' PQE in construction / infrastructure.Preferably, experience in transport, energy or water related projects (not necessarily required).Experience of drafting, reviewing and advising on JCT, NEC, FIDIC, and other major framework agreements, and large-scale project matters.Strong desire to work in-house and comfort operating with a high degree of autonomy in a fast-paced and expanding business.Existing international experience is desirable but not essential.What’s on offer / Benefits
