In-Custody Careers Adviser

We''re hiring for a Careers Information, Advice and Guidance Adviser. The role will require you to manage a caseload of participants in custody, providing careers information, advice and guidance to support their resettlement journey. You''ll help individuals overcome barriers, develop new skills, achieve agreed milestones and progress towards sustainable employment. Delivering tailored support forms a key part of the role, including assessments, one-to-one guidance, training, education opportunities, pre-release planning and employment support. Through personalised action plans and ongoing encouragement, participants will be supported to build confidence, raise aspirations and prepare for life beyond custody. Accurate record keeping is a key part of the role. You''ll maintain case notes, update risk information and record achievements on our systems, ensuring compliance requirements are met and participant progress is fully documented. Our ideal candidate will be passionate about helping people overcome barriers and achieve positive change. You''ll have excellent communication skills, the ability to build strong relationships and experience of supporting individuals.
