Job Title: Imports ManagerAre you an experienced Imports Manager, who has managed teams and are looking to join a busy and fast moving business? This organisation are going through a rapid period of growth and are very well established with a strong company/ team culture. You will have a degree in Supply Chain/Logistics and will be IT competent including SAP. There is a salary of up to £40,000 plus a fantastic benefits package.The Role:Oversee and manage all import operationsCoordinating with freight forwarders, suppliers and internal teamsManage end-to-end import processes from order placement to delivery Ensure compliance with UK customs regulations, including HMRC requirements Oversee customs clearance procedures and maintain accurate documentation Liaise with freight forwarders, shipping lines, and customs brokers Monitor shipment schedules and proactively resolve delays or issues Control import costs, including duties, taxes, and freight charges Maintain strong relationships with international suppliers and partners Ensure correct tariff classification (HS codes) and valuation of goods Implement and improve import procedures and processes Manage and develop the import team Create and manage paymentsTrack key performance indicators (KPIs) such as lead times and cost efficiency Stay updated on changes in import laws, trade agreements, and compliance requirements About You:Proven experience in import/export or international logistics management As our suppliers are ..... full job details .....
