Job Summary:

Dynamic shipping services company with a 30-year history and are part of a global network of over 100 offices across 30 countries are seeking and experienced Import LCL Sea Freight Operations person to join them in their office in Romford.

Join a dynamic and fast-paced team working in the Import Sea Freight operations department handling groupage containers from all around the world.

Key Responsibilities:

Working with our overseas offices to ensure shipments are co-ordinated correctly

Arranging for the containers to be unstuffed on arrival to the UK, working with our warehouse suppliers across all regions

-Speaking to customers which range from forwarders to personal individuals to co-ordinate their arrival of the cargo and making sure that all procedures are in place to get their shipments released / delivered to them at the earliest chance.-

-Customs. Taking care of necessary customs arrangements to clear cargo with our customs teams and ensure any local fees are collected

Transport. Arranging deliveries all over the UK and Ireland

Strong customer service focus is a must, with the ability to communicate clearly and precisely across all elements of the roll.-
