This is a full-time, office-based position in Barking, focused on freight operations and shipment management. Please note, this role does not include customs clearance responsibilities. Location: Barking (office-based) Type: Full-time Hours: Monday to Friday - 08:30 - 17:30 Salary: Up to -34,000 Key Responsibilities Manage end-to-end import shipments (FCL, LCL and air freight) from pre-alert through to final delivery Liaise with overseas agents, carriers, hauliers and warehouse teams Monitor shipment progress and resolve delays or issues proactively Coordinate deliveries to ensure efficient final mile execution Track and manage operational costs, including freight, handling and ancillary charges Provide clear and timely updates to customers Follow internal standard operating procedures to maintain consistency and efficiency Requirements Experience in freight forwarding for a UK based freight forwarder Experience in FCL/LCL required Experience in Ocean freight required ...
