Import / Export Account Manager

Can you confidently manage an import or export shipment end-to-end? Have you looked after long-standing customer accounts where service, margin and relationships all matter? We ve partnered with a long-standing client; a business that s grown massively in recent years, where relationships, reliability and trusted delivery are key. They re looking for an Import / Export Account Manager to join their fantastic team in Greater Manchester. The role suits someone that s confident and has a commercial mindset. You ll maintain and develop a portfolio of import and export accounts, with ocean freight at the heart of the role. What You ll Get £30,000 £35,000 salary (DOE) 25 days hols + BH s Company pension scheme Quarterly bonus Annual dividends 1-day per week WFH Your birthday off Excellent staff benefits Flexible working (after probationary period), in-keeping with the wider team Full-time onsite during probation to support onboarding and training About You You ve got solid experience in ocean imports and exports (essential) Air experience would be a huge plus You re comfortable maintaining customer relationships and key accounts Excellent verbal and written communication, collaborating with people at all levels Commercially savvy with previous pricing and invoicing experience It goes without saying that you re highly organised, dependable and happy to roll your sleeves up as and when needed Full, clean drivers licence for occasional client meetings (pool car provided) About ..... full job details .....
