Import Coordinator

Right Now Group are recruiting for an Import Coordinator to join a well-established international freight forwarder based in Manchester. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in Air or Ocean Imports who is looking to manage shipments end-to-end within a supportive and stable business. If you are confident in one mode of transport, full training can be provided on the other.The Role - Import CoordinatorYou will be responsible for coordinating import shipments from start to finish, ensuring cargo is moved efficiently, compliantly, and in line with customer expectations.Key Responsibilities of an Import CoordinatorManaging Air Freight and/or Ocean Freight import shipments from initiation through to final delivery (training available on one mode if required)Preparing and processing import documentation, including:Bills of LadingAir WaybillsCustoms entriesLiaising with shipping lines, airlines, overseas agents, hauliers, and internal teams to ensure smooth and timely movement of freightCoordinating customs clearance processes accurately and efficientlyProviding clear, proactive updates to customers and maintaining strong client relationshipsEnsuring all shipments comply with import regulations and customer requirementsUsing CargoWise to manage job files and shipment processingSupporting the wider operations team as requiredWhat We''re Looking For in an Import CoordinatorPrevious experience in import freight operations (Air or Ocean)Confidence managing ..... full job details .....
