Import Coordinator

Right Now Group are recruiting for an experienced Import Coordinator to join a busy Air Freight operation based in the Heathrow area.This is a hands-on operational role working a 4 on 4 off day shift, managing Air Import shipments from arrival through to final delivery.You''ll work closely with overseas agents, airlines, handling agents, customs, transport and warehouse teams to ensure freight moves efficiently through the import process. We''re looking for someone with strong Air Import experience who is comfortable taking ownership of shipments, managing a busy workload and resolving operational issues as they arise.Key Responsibilities of an Import CoordinatorManage Air Import shipments from origin through to final deliveryProcess and monitor import pre-alerts from overseas agentsMonitor flight arrivals and ensure incoming shipments are actioned promptlyObtain and review documentation required for customs clearanceComplete and support import customs entriesEnsure compliance with ETSF procedures and HMRC / Border Force requirementsMonitor shipment discrepancies, amendments and operational issuesLiaise with airlines, handling agents and overseas partnersCoordinate with Transport and Warehouse teams to arrange collections and deliveriesMonitor customs clearance and resolve issues that could delay freightCarry out warehouse and bond checks where requiredWork closely with Transport, Warehouse and Customer Service departmentsSupport audits of ETSF paperwork and customs ..... full job details .....
