This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented import professional looking to work in a fast-paced, commercial environment with strong long-term prospects.Key ResponsibilitiesLiaising with customers and overseas agents to manage import shipments end to endHandling general import enquiries, including arrival notices and split requestsQuoting for, arranging, and managing customs clearance and onward deliveryResolving invoice and billing queriesCreating and maintaining container load plans within CargoWiseProducing and managing Outturn ReportsManaging Full Container Load (FCL) shipmentsArranging cargo releases with ports, shipping lines, and hauliersRaising invoices and ensuring timely collection of outstanding paymentsSkills and Experience RequiredProven experience in an Import Operator (or similar) role within freight forwarding or logisticsStrong IT literacy, including Microsoft Office applicationsConfident and professional communicator with strong organisational skillsAbility to adapt to new systems, processes, and working practicesExperience using CargoWise One (CW1) is highly desirableWhat''s on OfferCompetitive salary, commensurate with experienceCompany pension scheme25 days annual leave, excluding bank holidaysSupportive working environment with excellent remuneration ..... full job details .....
