As the Import Co-ordinator you will be responsible for providing operational and administrative support to the existing US Import department. This role would suit someone with some experience of import & export procedures looking to progress and take ownership and responsibility and develop their skill set. You will be an enthusiastic creative free thinker who is willing to become involved in our clients focused operation. Duties will include: Co-ordinating with other team members based in UK & USA offices to arrange container unloading and final deliveries of goods arriving into the USA depot. Checking customs entries & shipment data to ensure data is accurate prior to clearance. Sending Pre alerts to final destinations. Job processing, costing and invoicing. Other ad hoc tasks as required.
