Import clerk - Air and Road

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Import Clerk who has experience in air and road freight to join our clients specialist team in the Hounslow area. This is a fantastic opportunity for a detail-oriented individual with strong import knowledge to take full ownership of shipments from start to finish within a fast-paced freight forwarding environment.Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am - 5:30pmKey Responsibilities:Manage airfreight / road freight shipments import shipments from arrival through to final deliveryComplete and submit customs entries in line with HMRC regulationsEnsure all documentation is accurate and processed in a timely mannerArrange collections and deliveries, ensuring deadlines and service levels are metMonitor shipment progress and proactively resolve any delays or issuesDeal with high profile / high value shipmenst and customersCalculate and manage costing, invoicing, and chargeable servicesMaintain strong relationships with clients, providing regular updates and high levels of customer serviceEnsure compliance with all customs procedures and company policiesWork closely with internal departments to ensure smooth operational flowRequirements:Minimum of 2 - 3 years experience in imports (end-to-end)Strong working knowledge of UK customs import procedures and regulationsExperience handling customs entries from start to finishFamiliarity with CDS / Sequoia systems is highly desirableStable work history demonstrating reliability and ..... full job details .....
