Import and Export Freight Apprentice

As an apprentice, you will receive full training and support while gradually taking on responsibilities such as:Monday to Friday pmSupporting international freight forwarding operations across air, ocean, and road freightAssisting with the coordination and movement of shipments through the supply chainProviding support within customer service operations and maintaining communication with clients, suppliers, and overseas partnersAssisting with the preparation, checking, and processing of freight documentationLearning to complete import and export procedures accurately and within required deadlinesGaining an understanding of customs processes, compliance requirements, and international trade regulationsSupporting invoicing, data entry, and general administrative tasksUsing internal systems accurately to maintain operational recordsAssisting with customer quotations and responding to enquiriesWorking closely with internal departments including Customs, Finance, Operations, and Customer Service teamsIdentifying opportunities to improve processes and operational efficiencyBuilding strong working relationships across teams and with external stakeholdersParticipating in departmental rotations to gain exposure across the businessAdhering to all company policies, procedures, and health and safety requirementsWe are looking for someone who demonstrates:Strong communication skills, both written and verbalExcellent attention to detail and accuracyStrong organisational and time ..... full job details .....
