SEND Teaching AssistantAnnual Salary: £100 per day minimumLocation: Plymouth, DevonJob Type: Full-timeStart Date: ASAPACE Schools are recruiting a reliable and adaptable SEND Teaching Assistant to work full-time, supporting pupils across both primary and secondary age groups with a range of additional learning and emotional needs. This role is ideal for candidates with experience in education, as well as those with strong transferable skills who are motivated to work within a specialist and alternative SEND provision.Day-to-day of the role:Work closely with teaching and support staff to help pupils feel safe, supported, and engaged in learning throughout the school day.Provide support on a one-to-one basis, within small groups, or in alternative learning environments, depending on individual pupil needs.The role requires a calm, flexible, and resilient approach, as pupils may present with varying emotional and behavioural needs.Travel between sites may be required, therefore access to a car with appropriate business insurance is essential.Required Skills and Qualifications:Calm, patient, and emotionally resilient.Confident in supporting children and young people with SEND.Flexible and able to adapt to changing settings and pupil needs.Comfortable working across both primary and secondary age ranges.Experience in education, care, or support roles, or can demonstrate relevant transferable skills.Access to a car with business insurance is essential.Previous school-based ..... full job details .....
