Immediate Accountant Required

Your new company Hays Accountancy and Finance is recruiting on behalf of a well-established and growing organisation for an experienced Accountant to join their finance team. This role offers an excellent opportunity for a finance professional who can hit the ground running and provide immediate support across a range of accounting and financial reporting activities.Your new role Preparation of monthly management accounts.Balance sheet and bank reconciliations.Management of accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.VAT returns and statutory reporting.Assisting with budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.Supporting month-end and year-end processes.Ensuring accurate financial records and compliance with relevant regulations.Producing financial reports and analysis for senior stakeholders.Providing ad hoc support to the wider finance team as required.What you''ll need to succeed Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or Qualified by Experience.Previous experience in a similar accounting role.Strong technical accounting knowledge.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.Available to start immediately or at short notice.What you''ll get in return Immediate start opportunity.Competitive remuneration package.Flexible and hybrid working options.Opportunity to join a professional and supportive finance team.Potential for contract extension depending on business ..... full job details .....
