      <description>Location: Fareham | Salary: 45000.00-45000.00 Annual | Type: Permanent | Fortress Recruit is supporting a leading Defence Services business in the recruitment of an ILS Engineer to join their team on a permanent basis. This is an excellent opportunity for an analytical engineering professional to play a key role in supporting a major asset refresh programme, while helping shape long term sustainment and asset management decisions through engineering data, modelling and analysis.  Working across Engineering, Asset Management, Projects and Supply Chain, you''ll use real world and theoretical engineering data to model reliability, supportability and sustainment options, providing insight that helps inform investment decisions and reduce long term asset risk.  Key responsibilities will include:  Producing Reliability Block Diagrams and associated reliability reports to verify MTBF and MTBR assumptions Analysing engineering and asset data to identify trends, risks and opportunities Developing Excel and Power BI models to support engineering, asset management and project decisions Providing analytical support to a major asset refresh programme Supporting spares ranging and scaling activity to optimise spend and reduce supply and availability risk Modelling di...</description>
