IAM Engineer (L2-L3)Role Title: IAM Engineer Location: Onsite Office Base: Inverness Contract Duration: Until November 2026Day Rate: £450 Engagement Type: Inside IR35Role OverviewWe are seeking an experienced IAM Support Engineer (L2-L3) to provide advanced operational support for enterprise Identity and Access Management services across cloud, hybrid, and on-premise environments. The role focuses on incident resolution, complex request fulfilment, monitoring, reporting, and service improvement to ensure IAM services meet defined SLAs and KPIs.Key Responsibilities Provide L2-L3 operational support across IAM platforms in cloud, hybrid, and on-prem environments. Resolve incidents and service requests relating to identity lifecycle (JML), access requests, SSO, MFA, RBAC, PAM, and PKI. Troubleshoot identity synchronisation, authentication failures, MFA issues, and certificate-based access problems. Perform root cause analysis and contribute to problem management and continual service improvement. Monitor IAM services, integrations, and connectors to maintain availability and performance. Respond to alerts from security monitoring tools and prevent SLA breaches. Produce operational and ad hoc IAM reporting, including SLA and KPI metrics. Support audit, compliance, and security reporting activities.
