This role involves delivering ICT across KS3 and KS4 within a specialist education setting supporting children and young people with complex additional needs, SEMH, and adverse childhood experiences. Students may learn in a range of environments including schools, community settings, and home-based provision, requiring a highly flexible and adaptive teaching approach.

The successful teacher will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging, accessible ICT lessons that are differentiated to meet a wide range of abilities, including GCSE and Functional Skills pathways. A strong focus is placed on removing barriers to learning through high levels of scaffolding, personalised strategies, and a trauma-informed, restorative approach to behaviour and engagement.

Working as part of a multidisciplinary team, the teacher will contribute to EHCP targets and support both academic progress and personal development, helping students build confidence, independence, and employable skills. The role requires excellent classroom practice, strong relationship-building skills, and the ability to adapt teaching to meet individual student needs across varied learning environments.

The position is based across Slimbridge and/or Gloucester City Centre and requires a committed, student-centred practitioner who is passionate about inclusive education and improving outcomes for vulnerable learners.
