This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate educator to join a school that is committed to academic excellence, innovation, and preparing students for the rapidly evolving digital world.
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and challenging ICT and Computing lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the opportunity to teach Key Stage 5 for suitably experienced applicants. You will inspire students to develop confidence in digital technologies while helping them build the skills needed for future education and employment.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality ICT and Computing lessons.
• Teach topics including digital literacy, programming, cyber security, databases, and computer systems.
• Monitor, assess, and track student progress, implementing intervention strategies where required.
• Differentiate lessons to meet the needs of all learners.
• Create a positive and engaging classroom environment that promotes achievement and inclusion.
• Support extracurricular activities related to computing, coding, and digital technologies.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to contribute to departmental development and curriculum planning.

Person Specification

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Degree in ICT, Computer Science, or a related subject.
• Experience teaching ICT and Computing within a secondary school setting.
• Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
• Strong organisational skills and commitment to raising standards.
• Passion for education and helping students achieve their full potential.
