ICT Design Engineer

Attention all ICT Design Engineers!

Blueprint Recruitment is excited to present a fantastic opportunity with a leading engineering consultancy. Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced ICT Design Engineer to join their team on a permanent basis. This hybrid role offers the flexibility to work up to three days a week in their London office and will focus on the design of critical facilities, including data centres.

Our client is a global-leading engineering consultancy specialising in built environment design and data centre design services.

Key Responsibilities:

-Design and deliver ICT systems to meet client needs and specifications.

-Collaborate with project teams, architects, and clients to gather requirements.

-Provide technical expertise during design and implementation.

-Prepare design documentation, conduct feasibility studies, and provide cost estimates.

-Oversee system installation and ensure compliance with industry standards.

-Assist in integrating ICT solutions with existing infrastructure.

Key Requirements:

-Degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).

Experience with network design, configuration, and implementation.

-Proficiency in design software (e.g., AutoCAD).

-Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

-Experience of Security & ICT infrastructure design and technical design coordination experience.

-Large scale data centre experience would be highly preferable.

- Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNA, CCNP) are a plus!
