IBM z/OS Integration Engineer - Remote/Sheffield - £500 per day PAYE Umbrella

We are recruiting for a IBM z/OS Integration Engineer on contract to work for a leading Banking group on contract. The role will be based 2 days per week in their Sheffield offices and 3 days remote As an IBM z/OS Integration Engineer, you will design, configure, and support enterprise integration solutions that connect distributed applications within the core banking services running on IBM z/OS. Using proprietary integration Middleware together with technologies such as IBM MQ, CICS, Db2 and API-enabled services, you will deliver secure, resilient, and high-performing integration solutions that meet both functional and non-functional requirements. Working as part of a global engineering team, you will help evolve the strategic integration platforms, troubleshoot complex development integration issues, and contribute to the delivery of modern API-based integration across our Mainframe estate. Required Technical Skills IBM z/OS andamp; Mainframe Strong experience developing or supporting applications on IBM z/OS. Good understanding of CICS, Db2 and Cobol. Experience analysing application flows and troubleshooting complex technical issues. Experience using Endevor, Jira, SNOW, or equivalent source management tools. Integration Technologies Experience with IBM MQ messaging. Knowledge of API integration technologies, including z/OS Connect EE or equivalent Mainframe API frameworks.
