IBA Technician

IBA TechnicianHFG are currently representing an established independent insurance broker looking to recruit an experienced IBA Technician to take ownership of the day-to-day IBA function.This is a hands-on role within a close-knit business and would suit someone who is confident working autonomously, managing insurance broking accounts from end to end and acting as the main point of contact for day-to-day IBA matters.The successful candidate will work closely with senior stakeholders across the business and will have genuine ownership of the function, with support available during the initial handover period.Key responsibilities will include:Managing client and insurer cash allocationCompleting insurer statement reconciliations and settlementsPerforming bank and client money account reconciliationsManaging credit control and monitoring outstanding premiumsProcessing refunds and return premiumsCompleting commission and brokerage reconciliationsProducing Client Money CalculationsSupporting month-end processes and reconciliationsInvestigating and resolving accounting discrepanciesMaintaining accurate records across internal systemsLiaising with insurers, clients, brokers and senior stakeholders to resolve account queriesProducing reports and escalating overdue or outstanding itemsHelping to maintain and improve IBA processes and controlsWe are keen to speak with candidates who have:Previous experience within IBA, insurance broking accounts or insurance financeStrong experience ..... full job details .....
