IBA TechnicianLocation: City of London (Hybrid 3 days in the office)Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 + Benefits (dependent on experience) Your new companyA well-established and growing specialist insurance broker is seeking an IBA Technician to join its finance function. Operating within the London Market, the business has built a strong reputation for delivering tailored insurance solutions and is continuing to invest in its finance and operations teams. Your new roleReporting into the IBA Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring the accurate processing and reconciliation of client money and insurer transactions in line with FCA and CASS regulations.Key responsibilities will include: Processing and allocating cash receipts and payments across multiple insurer and client accounts Performing daily, weekly and monthly bank and client money reconciliations Investigating and resolving unreconciled items, aged balances and outstanding cash allocations Producing insurer statements and supporting settlement processes Liaising with brokers, underwriters, insurers and internal stakeholders to resolve account queries Ensuring all client money is handled in accordance with FCA and CASS requirements Supporting month-end activities and maintaining accurate financial records Assisting with process improvement initiatives and strengthening financial controls What you''ll need to succeed Minimum of 2 years'' experience working within an IBA Technician or Insurance Accounts role Strong ..... full job details .....
