IBA Technician

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced IBA Technician to become a vital part an expanding team within a Lloyd''s insurance broker. This role offers an exciting opportunity handling complex accounts with precision and professionalism. What You''ll Do: Conduct monthly reviews of Aged Debt reports, actively chasing for due items, and settling balances. Reconcile client and underwriter statements accurately. Manage daily cash allocations and monitor cash flows, held balances, and funding activities. Prepare comprehensive statements and liaise effectively with clients, underwriters, and business units to resolve queries promptly. Support credit control meetings with detailed reports and maintain tracking systems for operational efficiency. Ensure compliance with internal procedures and external regulatory standards, escalating issues when necessary. Provide coverage for team members and undertake ad hoc duties as required. Required Skills: Strong knowledge of the insurance market, particularly in handling complex accounts such as Marine, Aviation, or Specie. Familiarity with Brokasure Enterprise / Enterprise Risk. Solid understanding of FCA client money rules and legal principles applicable to insurance. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially advanced spreadsheet skills.
