The school are looking to appoint a Teacher of IB Maths to start in Jan 26 on a permanent basis.About the role The role is a full time Maths teaching role with around 20 hours of teaching and 3 hours support in general cover. The role is a permanent role to start in January and will include time PPA and meetings. The candidate will need to be able to teach Maths to KS5 and IB Mathematics.About the school The School is a Popular independent school based in the borough of Brent. The school offer a International Program leading to the IB Diploma programme in Y12 and Y13.The school has around 700 students. The school offers state-of-the-art facilities and learning tools.Requirements To be considered for the role of IB Maths Teacher - Popular Independent school - Jan 26 you will: QTS (or equivalent) and a relevant degreeAt least 3 years of previous experience in a similar role (IB and/or A-level)Experience in the IB highly desirableInterest in curriculum developmentExperience with inquiry and concept-based teaching and learningAbility to create and deliver engaging, challenging and fun learning experiences for students with a provision for differentiationAbility to manage the classroom through positive disciplineStrong ability to work as a teamA passion for education and making a difference Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications.
