Hygiene Team Leader - Night Shift Location: Outskirts of Colchester Pay: 16.15 per hour Hours: 6:00pm - 3:00am 4 on / 4 off shift pattern Contract: Temporary to PermanentPrime Appointments are currently recruiting for an experienced Hygiene Team Leader to join a busy food production company based on the outskirts of Colchester. Due to the location, own transport is essential.This is a hands-on role where you will be leading a small hygiene team on shift, ensuring all cleaning duties are completed to a high standard while maintaining food safety and hygiene compliance across the factory.Duties of the Hygiene Team Leader will include:Leading and supporting a small team of hygiene operatives during shiftEnsuring all cleaning schedules and hygiene tasks are completed correctlyCarrying out deep cleaning of machinery and production areasDismantling equipment for thorough cleaning and sanitationMonitoring hygiene standards across the site and maintaining complianceCompleting hygiene records, paperwork and sign-off sheets accuratelyEnsuring safe handling and use of cleaning chemicals at all timesWorking closely with management to maintain high factory standardsSupporting with staff cover and helping organise workloads across the teamThe ideal Hygiene Team Leader candidate:Previous experience within hygiene or food manufacturing and production cleaningExperience leading or supervising a small teamGood understanding of Food Safety and Health and Safety proceduresReliable, hardworking ..... full job details .....
