Are you an experienced Hygiene Team Leader or Hygiene Supervisor looking for your next challenge within a successful food manufacturing business?

We''re working with a well-established and growing food manufacturer that is committed to maintaining the highest standards of food safety, hygiene and operational excellence.

As Hygiene Supervisor, you''ll play a key role in leading the site''s hygiene operation, ensuring hygiene standards are consistently achieved across the factory while supporting the development and performance of the hygiene team.

The Role

  • Supervise and support hygiene teams to ensure all cleaning activities are completed safely, effectively and to the highest standards
  • Drive a culture of hygiene excellence, food safety and continuous improvement across the site
  • Monitor hygiene performance, ensuring cleaning schedules, audits and deep-clean programmes are completed effectively
  • Support the implementation of site hygiene strategies and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and standards
  • Coach, train and develop team members, helping to build a motivated and high-performing team
  • Ensure compliance with all food safety, hygiene, health & safety and environmental requirements
  • Work closely with Technical, Production and Engineering teams to support operational objectives
  • Support the management of third-party hygiene contractors where required
  • Ensure all hygiene documentation and records are completed accurately and maintained to the required standard

About You

  • Previous experience in a Hygiene Supervisor, Hygiene Team Leader or similar position within food manufacturing
  • Strong knowledge of food safety, hygiene standards and Health & Safety requirements.
  • Experience leading, motivating and developing teams
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement
  • Good organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workload effectively
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively across departments
