Hygiene Operatives x 4 sought to join an award-winning, £multimillion turnover food plant based in Bilston. They are a privately owned company who supply numerous sectors including foodservice, retail, wholesale and catering, both in the UK and abroad. PM Shift: 3pm -10.30pm Tuesday to Thursday, 2.30pm 10pm Friday, 9am 5.30pm Saturday. Your duties as Hygiene Operatives: Working proactively to ensure production areas remain clean, safe, compliant and audit-ready Ensuring that food safety and health and safety standards are adhered to Working on designated production areas Identifying cleanliness issues Taking immediate action to resolve these issues Maintaining factory standards are met consistently This is a highly active role that requires candidates to be on their feet throughout the shift. Your skills and experience as Hygiene Operatives: Previous experience as a Hygiene Operative, Cleaning Operative or Cleaner within food manufacturing, food production or industrial environments. Good understanding of food safety, hygiene and health and safety requirements and their importance. Proactive, with a strong work ethic and the ability to identify issues before they become significant. Physically fit and capable of manual handling, lifting and carrying cleaning equipment and waste materials. Good English language skills, both verbal and written, to understand training, instructions, procedures and safety requirements.
