Hygiene Operative — Chippenham

Rate: £12.71 per hour | Day & night shifts available | Full-time & part-time

About the role

We are looking for reliable Hygiene Operatives to join our cleaning team in Chippenham. You will carry out daily cleaning and sanitation duties across commercial and industrial sites to a high standard, ensuring compliance with health & safety and site-specific procedures.

Key duties

General cleaning: sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting

Washroom and sanitary cleaning and restocking

Floor-care: scrubbing, buffing, machine operation (training provided)

Waste disposal and recycling

Reporting maintenance issues and completing checklists

Adhering to COSHH, PPE and site safety procedures

The right person for this role will have:

Proven or willing-to-learn/ experience in commercial/industrial cleaning
Ability to work either day or night shifts, including weekends (rotating shifts available)
Physically fit and reliable, able to lift and stand for long periods of time
Good timekeeping and attention to detail
Right to work in the UK
DBS check may be required for some sites (company can arrange)
