Hygiene Operative (Nights)

We are currently seeking dedicated and reliable Hygiene Operatives to join our client at a busy food production factory. This role is essential to maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene across all production areas, ensuring compliance with food safety and health and safety regulations. Pay: 15.05ph Hours: 4 on 4 off 6pm-6am Key Responsibilities: Perform cleaning tasks across production, packaging, and storage areas, including machinery and equipment Follow daily and weekly cleaning schedules Use cleaning chemicals and equipment safely and effectively Ensure all hygiene records and documentation are completed accurately and on time Report any maintenance or hygiene issues to supervisors Work closely with the Quality Assurance and Production teams to meet hygiene standards Adhere strictly to company hygiene, health and safety, and food safety policies and procedures Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times Requirements: Previous hygiene or cleaning experience in a food production or similar environment is desirable Basic understanding of food safety and cleaning protocols (e.g., COSHH) Ability to work independently and as part of a team Good attention to detail and a proactive attitude Physically fit and able to perform repetitive tasks and manual handling Flexible with working hours and willing to work various shifts if required Apply with an up to date CV or call us on (phone number removed).
